Football in 2007, a Hobby Year in review

With the release of UD Exquisite Football, the last product of 2007 has been issued.  There have been many changes to products this year, some favorites have been cancelled/changed, some new products have surfaced.  That being said, as you look back on 2007 products, what have been the highlights, lowlights.  Was there any one trend, product, issue that stands out for you.  Are there any lessons, changes recommendations you would make for 2008?  Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

  1. Though I haven’t busted much, Gridiron Gear has been by far my favorite to look at. Donruss did a great job giving this set great eye appeal both in design and in their generous use of multi-color patches and swatches.

  2. I thought one product that stood out but did not get much love was Press Pass Legends. The deep set list of on the card autos of the rookie class plus a huge amount of college stars was awesome. Plus, some of the college patches from the set were absolutely insane. That is quickly becoming one of my favorite football products.
