Yeah, so I’m a little slow this week, but it’s basketball season.

This weeks cards are LeBron /999, Dirk & AI /649, RROs of Corey Brewer and Jeff Green.

I think the LeBron is a decent buy, but don’t know about the other 2 regular issues. I don’t know anything about the 2 RROs, and it is probably too late to buy them anyway.

On the Trade Post be sure to avoid 2003 Jerome Williams Baseball, it is HIGHLY MANIPULATED at this point. There are offers at 190% for quality cards offering just this garbage. If you have any Jerome’s, I would put them up for sale now to kill the pump or get paid 5-10x what they are ‘truly’ worth. There are a few TP IDs that I avoid all together due to them always offering the latest in shilled cards, but at this time I will not name them. To detect these people, watch for offerings of more than 5 of a card worth $5 or less where it is at 130%+ of the card desired.

As far as things I’ve seen heating up, 2007 Baseball RCs (Game Speculation), Obama, Presidential First Pitch Set, and A&G Tom Brady. I would AVOID getting into the Cards That Never Were Alex Rodriguez. While I like the set, I find this to be overpriced in anticipation of the Autograph Offering which is still TBD. I had 2 A-Rods that I had under $18 into and got out via the TP for around $70. Don Mattingly is the only other card from this set that should be autographed. It currently carries a $10-$15 price tag, which should see a bit of an upward swing on an auto offering, and settle in around $8-$12 after the auto.
