Show Report, East Windsor Best Western Hotel, March 16th
Every third Sunday of the month the trade show caravan travels to the Best Western Hotel in East Windsor, Connecticut. Like many other card shows, this once large show has been reduced in size, but it still provides a good 16-20 dealers for the card seeking public out there. As with East Catholic, and featuring many of the same dealers providing new product wax, supplies, modern cards, vintage cards, McFarlane’s, just about a little bit for everyone.
This show brought at least 75 people out I would estimate. Hard to tell with room layout, but probably a good number. Baseball and cheap box sales again were the theme of the day, although I did sell a Larry Bird auto, it was only out for over a year but hey, all that matters is it sold. Not to much new product came in, picked up a few football plus a large lot of cheapies to help stock up for the big White Plains show coming up. I know this report does not make this sound like a wham bam exciting day, anytime you can set up, attend a show and be around other dealers and collectors alike is a good day. Overall, about $400 in sales, trades, pickups went down, not great but they can’t all be.
Here is one picture for posterity.

75 attendees? And you want me to drive an hour to go to this show? I’ll see you in White Plains!

it could be more, I don’t count. Anyway, you aren’t coming to pick up chicks, you are coming to check out the cards!
