Day 1 of White Plains Sports Card Show
It was a fun first day for those set up here in White Plains, New York. Fellow TCGer Lisa (lisu) is sharing a booth with me. Sadly, her baseball prospects dwarf mine, but it’s all good. For the most part it has been a steady trickle of people through the show, with several bursts of activity, both buying and selling. Today is just the warm up, however, for what is sure to be a heavy day of activity on Saturday. Autograph guests and cloudy skies are the recipe for a solid turnout. Rob (Giantfan) will be here helping sell the cards, market the site, and screen my new friends from Craigslist. We are winding down now, so I just wanted to give a quick update for the show. Look for more photos and updates during the day tomorrow!
As a quick aside, welcome to any new members we met today, hope you all enjoyed the show!!
