Phelps Evades Pot Charges

The sheriff of Richland County, South Carolina, announced today that his office will not be pursuing charges against Michael Phelps on drug charges after a picture of Phelps smoking a bong surfaced.  Although he’ll be taking a 3-month leave of absence from U.S.A. swimming, his legacy, for the most part, will remain untarnished.

Phelps can thank A-Roid for the timely and much needed media diversion!  Although Phelps’s Fans of the Game auto isn’t fetching quite what it was this past Summer (the last one sold on eBay for $286, about a third of what they were going for immediately following his record-setting performance), one can rest assured that he will remain the most highly sought after Fan of the Game auto, wacky-weed or not.
