Chris Simon gets record 30 game suspension

for kicking Penguins winger Jarko Ruutuu in the head about a week ago. Someone needs to absolutely blaze Simon out, as he was quoted as saying, "He fully regrets kicking Ruutuu."

I call bs. 7th time he's been suspended. He sucks at hockey, is a goon and has anger issues he needs to work out. Send him to prison or a life-long ban.

Kicking him in the head? Not quite, he stepped on Ruutu with his skate. I think Simon has mental issues and hopefully with the time away from hockey he can get some help.

82 game season. I am curious to see if how much longer he lasts in the NHL if/when he does actually return.

paper up here said he was older, like 35, which is true cause that is kinda old for a player. most guys that age are playing local hockey teams.

i know mcsorley got demoted to wchl when he got suspended. i know our guys were nervous to play against him when fresno came up here
