Just heard on the radio, kinda nuts. I liked Skiles, but Paxson said he fired him because he was never able to establish a relationship with the players, and he felt that was the reason for their absolute lack of effort this season. He places responsibility on the players now, but that was a quick decision on his part to fire him. It's a shame it had to happen the day before Christmas.

I agree, but temper it with the knowledge he still gets millions from his contract...
