View Full Version : Need XBox 360 musts

I got the system the day after Christmas, because I was slipped a fat Best Buy gift card by my wife's grandmother.

I bought NCAA Football 07 because it has LaRon Landry and JaMarcus Russell on it.

what games do you consider must owns for this system.

I bouight the XBox 360 Pro, so I have all the stuff for online gameplay. (headset, cables, all that garbage) but I will probably want to get decent and the game first.

i got Madden 08 up for grabs if you want to trade cards or cash for it lmk don't play it because i'm all over COD4

COD4 and NCAA 08 so we can have an LSU/Rutgers showdown. I'm pretty good using Rutgers against higher skilled opponents.

Mass Effect
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Rainbow Six: Vegas
Halo 3

COD4 has a great campaign and multiplayer. Halo has a solid campaign and a decent MP. The others have solid campaigns. Mass Effect is an RPG/Shooter, so it's a little different than the others.

I heard the Orange Box is awesome... it's the next game on my list to get.

If you like shooters, you're going to love the 360.

Rock Band

Only downside is that the Rock Band bundle costs 175.

Halo 3 is a no brainer. You'll get tons of replay value.

Madden 08 is a must have.

Viva Pinata is a cool laid back game. Kinda childish, but it's in the Greatest Hits selection.

Dead Rising is alot of frigin fun and it's in the Greatest Hits selection.

Bioshock is awesome, although I don't know about it's replay, because I haven't played through it.

Rock Band is fun if you can afford it, but Guitar Hero III is more wallet friendly.

Gears of War is fun, but once you play through it, you'll play Halo's Multiplayer from then on, so I don't think there is too much replay value there.
