Mitt Romney - Conservative Mormon (religous right, does not like Mormons)
Mike Huckabee - ex Baptist Preacher with some liberal economic ideas
Ron Paul - Libertarian
John McCain - ex POW but already a two time loser to Bush in primaries.
Rudy Gulliani - Religous right will not accept him due to his extra marital affairs and abortion stance

Hillary Clinton - a woman
Barak O'Bama - Black guy (who know one really knows his platform) but he sure is likeable
John Edwards -- feminine male who spends almost as much in the beauty salon as he does campaigning.

Republican - Huckabee

Democrat - Obama

:salut:

Not who I am pulling for in both parties, but I would agree with this. I think McCain is highly electable as well.

hard to chose, i hate so many
hilary sux, straight up. i cant believe she has been attempting to court the labor unions after having spent ten years on the wal-mart board of directors
im pretty sure she was on the BOD when that wal-mart in canada closed because the employees voted to go union

obama hasnt said anything about what he wants to do, hes just likeable, maybe good but who knows

romney is a mormon

i like ron paul but he is nowhere near main stream enough to actually be elected for anything

edwards and mccain are douches, edwards especially, he doesnt deserve consideration for anything

if giuliani could get through a speech without 9/11 in it i would be amazed

this is what I hate about today's society. People are labeling people morons who are in fact very intelligent capable people.

I am no Romney supporter, but I will give anyone who endeavours to run for the highest office in the land my respect regardless of party.

I do not always agree with presidential decisions, but I respect the office, no matter what the party.

I also have the highest respect for McCain for all he has been through.

Obama is a black Bill Clinton and will somehow find his way into the whitehouse. It''ll be a shame, too, because he'll be just as bad of a president.

As an outsider looking in I thought Clinton was the best prez you guys had in my entire lifetime. Your economy was great and he was a blast in the media for the right reasons. Bush is the ultimate tool and a disgrace on every level.

i dont know, it will probably sound like im back-peddling but my personal opinion of the man and my political opinion of the man are two different things
i feel his political views are douchy while i can still have respect for how he served the country and for how horrible his experiences with his time in the service were

i cant say im either for or against torture but coming from someone who was tortured i think its pretty telling that McCain is vehemently against it, but he also called the UFC human cock-fighting, hes also changed his stance on gun laws several times and has even sponsored anti-gun bills, he supports using the death penalty for federal crimes; mandatory prison terms for selling illegal drugs; and stronger restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns

Pretty much. Clinton balanced the budget and actually created a surplus (which Lil' Bush destroyed in a matter of years). Clinton has been the best president in my lifetime (25 years), despite what the Reganites say. ;)

Not that Clinton is the best model for a president, but he wasn't that bad.

I was leaning toward Edwards, but he's about done. I guess it's Barack or bust! :)

The Democrats had a great chance this election to change things, but this country is not yet ready for a woman or a black man as our president.

I think the Republicans could put a zebra on the ballot and win.

I would to. I am just saying the Democrats aren't giving themselves much of a chance here.

haven't really thought much about it cause no one sticks out a lot with me.

obama is very likeable and he will most likely end up on the democatic ticket along with hilary. bad thing is, neither want to be vice president but if they joined guranteed that no one would try to assassinate whoever is prez, cause they would be scared of who would be next in line.

i keep telling the people i work with that if obama wants to win and gaurantee that someone isn't gonna shoot at him, he needs to pick a mexican for a running mate. cause no one would shoot him for fear that the borders would be open :lollol:

I like Obama at the moment, but I just wish he would talk about something besides change.

It seems that each guy/gal has some one thing that they have to repeat over and over and over again. It gets extremely annoying.

I think Obama would win in a landslide if he would changed his tactics.

i think he's saying change a lot because that's what the american people want to hear. we don't want to hear "sorry gonna be in iraq and afganistan for another 6 yrs" or "sorry your taxes are gonna keep going up for the next 6 yrs while we finish this war some schmuck got us into"

i'm cool with change as long as i know that my taxes are paying to get military supplies and stuff to protect them in a war. i can not stand hearing that guys/gals are coming home in pieces and some aren't coming home at all.
