We got there early to watch the Mets batting practice but weren't allowed down onto the field level because we didn't enter through a certain gate. What a SHAM!!! I was pissed. These pics were taken from my phone so not great.

It's a Mets hat. Just not the normal NY logo.

Great photos (nowt wrong with that phone!). Was it rather dull?? Looks like a tiny ballpark from the pics.

so explain this to a non baseball person

they have batting practice BEFORE the game? why? isn't it dangerous if your key batter gets hit in practice or pulls a muscle?

Yeah, I can't quite make out that "Did you know?" fact all the way out there on the scoreboard. What a crappy phone! :roll:

Cris they take batting practice before the game to get warmed up, and alot of times the pitching coach throws BP and throws some of the pitches of the starting pitcher on the oppisite team that day.

Oh and great pictures Rob, I bet it was alot of fun.

Even though I hate those bastids still one of the better stadiums to watch a game. Nice pics from that crappy phone of yours too Rob :)

Of the ones i've been to my 2nd choice would be Camden Yards , been to The Stick,Oakland,Rockies & Padres(new & old) and of course Anaheim.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I said the game was crappy, not my phone. Just said the pics aren't great. Nothing I would actually have printed because most come out blurry.
