Nice stuff....but it looks like TTT.....and you aren't guaranteed an auto....I'd be pissed if I spent over $200 and my hit was a patch card (don't care if there are 6 windows on the card...it's still a patch card)....numbered to 10.

looks just like triple threads. I do love the autos though and would kill for the Sayers auto. The Bo Jackson is kinda lame with 2K and something career rushing yards kinda makes him seem like a scrub. They should of done something about his heisman trophy on his card.

I hate the way that and Triple Threads look. The dumbest fad to me is when they try to spell something with patch cards. like 8 Pro Bowls.

I ran the numbers on the Marino boxes a while ago, there would be something like 2,000 Marino boxes. This product is over priced and mass produced.

I read somewhere this week that the product had been cancelled. The story did say that the cards would be inserted into multiple future releases as a bonus. That may or may not be true just passing along what I read. This thread was orginally posted last year & has been brought forward a couple of times by others. If I run accross that story again I'll link the details in case anyone is interested.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was canceled. Our hobby is based on slush funds, and right now in this economy people are losing jobs and saving whatever money they have. Slush funds are tight right now. I can't see how these companies keep coming out with $400-500 boxes with 5 cards and people are still willing to pay it.
Blowout still has these up for pre-sale with a release date of May 12
