For Father's Day my wife got me tickets to see Rage Against the Machine at Alpine on August 24th!!!! It's their only midwest show, and I can't wait to go!!

I'm not certain, but I think Wu Tang Clan is opening. I saw those two back in 1998, and it was a helluva show, easily the best I've ever been to.

I was going to buy tickets, but then I realized that they were charging $60 for lawn seats AND I'd have to sit through them crying about Bush and politics the enitre time. FYI- Queens of the Stone Age are opening.

What are you talking about? It has nothing to do with Bush. Why should I care about a celebrity or musician's views on politics? Just shut the hell up and play music.

im not much of a rage fan either...but to each their own..enjoy the show zeeck...

i guess the Gin Blossoms are playing in late July early August in Ottawa at the "my town" or whatever thing, like a mini Rib Fest thing...it might interfere with Nattys, but its a free show, so if you like that stuff or the wife does, you might want to check into it

That's my point, I like the band because I dig their music and vocals. Could care less about the "message" they try to convey, though.
