whatever no one could of doen any better he had to deal with Katrina and 2 wars to go along wiht 911. Kinda hard to balance a budget with all that going on. He was a good president I do not care what you think.

didn't really get the shoe reference until jason explained it to me
just kinda shows how different our security is in foreign countries cause if it woulda been here 4 secret service guys woulda jacked him up after the first shoe was thrown and he wouldn't have been able to make the second throw

Why do not like facts? Try looking at what he had to do.
1. 911 happened then the government paid for rebuilding and releif as well as the war
2. Katrina happened again a very price clean-up and relief effort
3. Iraq alot of money has went to the war over there
Just from those three things it was enough to kill any chance for a balanced budget. Although I understand how many are blind and do not care to admitt he had one of the hardest presidency in history

1. 911 happened then the government paid for rebuilding and releif as well as the war Valid point
2. Katrina happened again a very price clean-up and relief effort Hardly did anything, some areas still not cleaned up
3. Iraq alot of money has went to the war over there NEVER EVER SHOULD HAVE GONE THERE SO STUPID ARGUMENT

He made it what it was. How was Clinton able to leave us with a surplus and this guy ran the country into the ground? And yeah yeah I know, some of it was Clinton's fault.
But if the stuff Clinton did was so bad, why didn't Bush fix it and make things better?
He might go down as one of the worst presidents in our history.

I disagree I think Clinton had alot of blame for 911 and Katrina has cost billions. As far not needing to go to Iraq I disagree there as well I think only time will tell if we needed to go our not right now it is a draw as far as I see it anyways.

so we spent 700 billion dollars and 4200 American lives for a draw?
We had no reason to go there, ask Colin Powell.
If we spent that time and energy in Afghanistan where a dangerous terrorist was I'd say ok, but Hussein could hardly terrorize his own people let alone us.
Can you tell me 1 thing that we are better off as a country after 8 years of Bush?

I see your point abotu iraq and I did not mean the war was a draw more that it will take time to see if what we have done there sticks or if they revert back to their previous ways inIraq. As for one thing that is better in America after 8 years of Bush yes I can he has done a great job improving saftey and really brought down the chances of another 911. I understand he is not our best president ever but he is by far not the worst just look at Jimmy Carte for that.

underfunded/supplied troops...
9/11 was Al-Queda not Saddam, so really the 'Iraq' thing i see more as George going after what his daddy couldnt do...i agree we need to be fighting against the Taliban and Al-Queda, but since Saddam wasnt affiliated with them, kind of a lost cause...
also the whole American ideal of terrorism is flawed, we see things like 9/11 as terrorism, but as a whole no one really owns up to it when we as a country are the aggressive one...

I think he is the worst ever. As far as improving safety, yeah, he has stepped up security, but only because he has made us one of the most hated countries and to make us safe, he took away individual freedoms. He butchered the handling of Katrina.
Having a tough presidency does not make you a good president.

I don't think that bush made us one of the most hated countries. Other countries have hated us for a long time. 9/11 had been planned for years before it happened and bush had nothing to do. What individual freedoms have been taken away???
Katrina was handled badly but who would have thought it would have been so bad. And I think that the government has done everything that they can. We help aid other countries so much that when something horrible happens to us we don't get the same support and it hurts us badly.

I will throw the BS flag on this. I traveled in the Military and we were hated alot more when Clinton was in office than Bush. When Clinton was in office we could not even walk the streets of South Korea without having to worry about being jumped for being American after Bush took over it got better.

some places like us, some places hate us, BUT they all love our tourism money...
had a good talk with some college kids from washington while in thailand, they said several changes in the tshirt racks were made in the days before we pulled in...we got out in town in india and went to a computer lab where screen savers were bin laden...
in australia they were talking about how people come there and say they hate america...i didnt really hate anywhere we went...seal beach blew cause it was missile onloads, same with honolulu, guam and figi sucked, but they were hot humid and stores/fuel onload...
india, singapore, thailand, UAE, Australia...amazing

No way man... Not even close. As a musician, I have traveled to play and teach all over the world. Its not even close to what it used to be. People hate Bush, people hate the US in plenty more places these days than before.
