I wish he would not have waited so long to do it, but glad to see that he finally pulled the trigger on this one.

you know what i don't get, is why they gotta stay in for 2 more months? if they are pardoned they should be able to pack up that day. (only read part of the article though)
our senator asked the president for clemancy for our former Senator. He's appealing it and has said he was innocent from day one, but she asked for him anyways. I don't think he shoulda got convicted, hell I voted for him anyways, but he lost because of it.

They weren't pardoned; there's a huge difference between a pardon and a commutation.
Bush did a lot of great things during his eight years in office; most of which the media never reported.

remember 9/11 happened on his watch, and his policy has made us a more hated nation than we ever were before and more of a target than ever.
Even our oldest allies are not 100 % with us like they were before him.

911 happened because of Clinton they trained in America for 7 years while Clinton was president. Also Clinton had a chance to kill Bin Laden after the embassy bombing he did, but chose not to. Clinton also took us into Desert fox when being impeached which some say provoked the 9-11 attacks.

Seriously? You voted for a guy who was convicted of corruption? Was his opponent that bad?

Well as a republican it was smart to vote for him because if he was convicted and removed from office they would have a emergency election to fill the spot which would give you a new republican to vote for instead of being stuck with a democrat by default.

So Clinton should have.....? Banned Arabs from taking flying classes? I do not see this as his fault.
To me, Bush had the intelligence ahead of time, and did not act on it. Can't blame Bill for that.
Reagan stopped supporting Afghanistan in the 80s, after they beat the Russians. That contributed to their hatred just as much, if not more than Clinton.

You can't blame Bush for everything. He is too stupid to have knowledge of most things done right or screwed up during his administration. With some former presidents you can see they would be capable of hiding the truth and doing underhanded things. I don't think Bush is capable of tying his shoes without help. I'm sorry but the guy is a clown. Anything his administration did right was clearly not because of him. They probably had to puppet show him the basics and just didn't tell him the rest.

yup i seriously did. what they busted him on was crap, the fbi wants his son and only charged him on gravy stuff because he wouldn't hand over his kid.
i wasn't willing to let go of the seniority of what he had. at one point he was the #4 guy. basically 3 others including president, VP and one other guy before he'd be president.
plus his opponent was our mayor and i didn't like him than, and still don't trust him

The chief justice, though not required to, almost always issues the oath. I wouldn't exactly say Obama picked him. That was a decision he didn't have to make.

I do not HATE him but I do not care for him. I do not agree with alot of his ideas but hope he will prove me wrong. Now his stupid email crap is getting on my nerves to what he does not remember Palins getting hacked? There is a reason no other President used Email for daily buisness but he seems to think he is the exeption to the rule.
Right now, I'm not sure how Obama is going to do in office, but I'm glad that he is ripping the financial industry's bonuses right now because that is part of what caused the financial crisis right now. People were being rewarded for crap that they should not have been rewarded for.
