Been playing this recently. The solo campaign is decent, but the multiplayer is crap, IMO. It isn't even remotely as good as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. COD 4 might be the best game I have ever played.
They tried to make a cut-and-paste version of the COD 4 online play and still managed to mess it up. Oh well, I guess. I can't wait for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (perhaps this year)!
I bet I'm in the minority on this, but was just wondering what anyone else thought.

If they would add Hardcore War to COD 4, I'd never play World at War again.
Also, my disdain of WWII games helps to fuel my less-than-stellar view of the game.
Jon, you should try COD 4. The online is better than WaW and the story is realistic and believable. And the cinematic feeling while playing is unmatched.

I love WAW, play it every day.
Well, my xbox died yesterday so I will not be playing anytime soon, but I like it a little more than 4.
