What a frickin' douchebag!!!

One of his arguments in response to one of the articles of impeachment was that the activity complained of occurred prior to his re-election, and that because the people knew he did that and re-elected him, he can't be impeached.

Thanks, Rod!! Because the people of Illinois were too stupid to recognize that the means by which you were accomplishing things were likely illegal and voted him in again, clearly it's the fault of the voters for not knowing any better, and he shouldn't be impeached for their mistake.

No matter what he does he comes off as the most arrogant person in the world. He better get convicted.

The entire last half of his argument was a woe-is-me/put-yourself-in-my-shoes plea for sympathy as if he's some kind of martyr. I can't wait for the grand jury to indict this idiot.
