I had heard a little bit about her comment, but have been busy stuff, but she said essentially that enforcing immigration laws in Un-American. I know she was talking about raids where they round up illegals and it may split up families, but this is ridiculous. I have no problem sending illegals home. A lot of them come here and have kids so that they are citizens and they are called Anchor babies in the sense that they may not be deported since the kid is an American citizen. IMO, it should be that if the parents are here illegally, the kid should not be considered a citizen, but that is just my opinon. I wish Pelosi would just go away, but she isn't.

there has been tons of stuff about illegal immigration in the campus paper this past week, one guy is claiming that the only time the 'latino' population is brought up is in a negative way and it should be 'undocumented worker' not 'illegal alien' then some other dude commented that the guy was oversensative but should learn the defination :salut:

i know Dave brought someone over legally and it was a pain, and my friend brian also brought over a philipino lady and BOTH her parents now...PROPERLY...

i have no problem with people who go through the process to become a citizen, its those who dont that i take issue with, be they latino, australian, or random hot chick...

I don't have a problem with legal immigration. It pisses me off when illegals come here, use the resources (healthcare, schools, etc.) and do not pay taxes or whatever. My cousin teaches at a school where she has a handful of classes as an english teacher. One is gifted kids, one or two is gifted to still smart kids (likeley to acctually graduate HS). She has 2 classes of kids who are less gifted or whatever the term is. But in those two, half of them are immigrants kids and she knows most are illegal, but there is nothing that they can or will do. We should not be providing that, IMO. With how large class sizes are, that is a whole class that could be removed and used to thin out the others which would help everyone. Also, do not get me started on how illegals can get drivers liscences in California.

As some of you might know - I am an immigrant to the US. My parents went through the process of immigrating here when I was 2. Of course, we were legal and were sponsored by my relatives who were already here. I am a naturalized citizen now.

Some of you may think that I'm a raging liberal, but no, I'm really not. If you're an illegal alien, then you should go back to the country you came from and try to become a legal immigrant. However, I do think that we should allow gay people to sponsor their partners to legally immigrate here. The illegals are draining the resources of our country .

Pelosi is great for Republicans as she is extreme to the left. She will get Republicans in office sooner rather then later. We need to stop providing illegals free public services. We need to in turn cut the red tape and make legal immigration an easier process.

i did not know that :salut: i dont question people, especially if they speak the language...dont know much about same sex sponsorship, just know it took a few years for my friend to get his wifes family over, hes been married to her for probably 8 years and her dad just got over here over the summer, i guess her mom came a few years back...too expensive to bring everyone at once

I know exactly what you guys are talking about. I remember when I got my nipples pierced, they got all infected and nobody wanted anything to do with me, not even the dog. It smelled like Night of the Living Dead. Then the doctor prescribed something for me to clear it up and my husband was back to licking my nipples 8 months later.....the dog too!
