This should be interesting to see how it shakes up their stock. There are a lot of quality LB's in this draft (unlike at DT with Raji's positive test). I suspected Cushing, didn't think of Matthews. I wonder who keeps leaking this info...

Don't forget the same site is reporting that Harvin and Davis failed drug tests.

We all knew Raji did, but I'd still wait to get confirmation from a better source than nfldraftbible.com.

Cushing was obvious. He looked like Lattimer from "The Program"

I tested positive for steroids once, but then I broke the doctor's neck so no one found out.

hard to ignore the fact that he went from being a backup to being a standout as fast as he went from flabby to built like a tank:doh:.....still hoping it's not true....but I guess I can only hope right now until a credible source confirms this.

If this guy isn't on roids, he lives in the weight room at USC.

Story turns out to be false. Now even more curious who was this "source" for their information.

The doctor who administers the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs told highly regarded USC linebackers Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews Jr. on Friday that neither tested positive for banned substances, including steroids, according to sources close to both players.

I really did not think it was a possibility with Matthews. Kid is smart, one of the few white linebackers I would not mind having.

Media cover up. They don't want negative attention on USC. Why have they not been sanctioned over Bush's house?

Because they did nothing wrong They were investigated and found not at fault. Carrol turned all that in.

I totally agree a 14-15 record, which includes some of the greatest bowl games ever played, is a total embarrassment. a 42-33 record versus the prestigious USC program is a total embarrassment, not to mention all those national championships and stellar academics. Even though Notre Dame is an embarrassment at least they aren't riddled with scandals and wrong doings.

All USC has to do is use the Maurice Clarret defense (not answer the phone....) and they will be fine ;)

I brought up the past because vets said they are always an embarrassment. I never said they were doing well now, all I said is that at least they act with honor. No matter how well Notre Dame does I will always be proud to be a fan because of the way they compete, unfortunately I can't say the same about USC. Notre Dame does it right and if they go through a rough patch so be it, at least they care about the student more than the athlete. Notre Dame teaches their athletes more than just spots, they teach them how to be valuable members of society. In the end I just dont see that in what USC does, as exampled by some of their alum.
