Hit hard and knocked out cold. His eyes were still open and a stick his his face when he was lying on the ground and he didn't even blink. Just laid there comatose.

i dont watch hockey :salut: but yeah, if people can die in a football hit they can surely die playing hockey

at least he didn't turtle while laying on the ice

at the end of the game last night here, one of our guys swung with a left, clocked a guy in the jaw and he fell face first and covered up. he acted like he was dead but his feet were moving. after he stood up, no blood on the ice and everyone called him a wuss

I agree. It was a completely clean hit. Like the one Mike Brown threw on Hudler in the Anaheim series. Yes both Kronwall and Brown had the guy in their sights and knew they were going to wreck the guy but so what. If you do it in the rules of the game there is no reason for a penalty. Keep your head up or suffer the consequences. My old pal Lindros is tribute to that.

That was sick. I was at my tournament last night so I missed the actual live game but I saw the replay and my mouth dropped.

Hudler had already played and gotten rid of the puck though. Havlat had the puck right between his legs so he was in the middle of the play.

I agree too. It was a clean hit. Vicious? Definitely, but still clean. Not that I'm going to complain, though, about his getting ejected. :D
