honestly i have nothing against gays, as long as they arent hitting on me, im fine with it, not the way i go about things, but to each their own...
so today california went back to the 'marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman' thing...
seriously, who cares?...i dont care if its 12 dudes getting married to each other, or 1 dude getting hitched to 11 chicks...whatever, doesnt bother me...
people marry pets in some states, sure they are a little goofy in my eyes, but whatever, if you want to marry your goat stefan, go right ahead, i wont think any differently of you

horrible day for America where we uphold taking the rights away from a fellow American. Not letting the Gay population get married is no different then not letting Females vote or slavery. People are being hurt for something because it is different. Every American should be afraid right now if they can uphold and strip rights from one group of Americans then they can do same to the rest of us. Let Gays Marry everyone should be allowed to be happy!!!

1967 there were 9 states that still had a law that someone who was black could not marry someone who was white. This one day will be laughed at just like that is...
It's ok for Britney Spears to get married for 24 hours as a publicity stunt but 2 people who've been together for 20 years can't? They say they're trying to protect the sanctity of marriage? WTF?

If the religious right want to claim it as a religious item, then they can hollar. The minute the government starts issuing tax breaks it becomes beyond religion. I dont care if I am OK with the issue or not. As long as it does not impact my rights or others go do what floats your boat.

It doesn't impact anyone's rights. Read the opinion.

I completely agree with this. As long as they aren't hurting anyone, why the hell should anyone care what they do in the privacy of their own home? I am all for equal rights & benefits. :salut:

Just the right to get married. You don't understand how much this upsets this. However, I don't want to get into it with anyone on the message board.
Just because 52% of California voters think that gay marriage should be banned doesn't mean that a majority should be able to amend the constitution taking away the rights of a minority.

I'm as conservative as they come and I could care less if people of the same sex want to get married. I think we have bigger fish to fry. Plus misery loves company:D

Haha, I think there was a comedian that say, "If they want to be as miserable as the rest of us, let 'em."

isn't living in california punishment enough?
:run: :run: :run: for shelter
You mean - living here with a $400k + mortgage and dealing with traffic every day? :)
I actually love live in Northern Cali. Southern Cali kills me.
