The Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors are close to completing a trade that would send PG Jamal Crawford to the Warriors, for PG Acie Law and PG Speedy Claxton.

Now it is a lock that the Warriors will draft a Point Guard at #7 tomorrow.

Despite adding two PGs (I don't count Crawford as a PG)?
This is a PG-deep draft, so it wouldn't surprise me. Curry, Lawson, Evans or Jennings are all possibilities, I guess.

Out of that group, I'd probably opt for Jennings or Evans as the best fits for what the Warriors do on offense.
Jennings was a pass first guy in HS and in Italy. Only thing he couldn't pass was the SAT. :lollol: With guys like Ellis, Jackson, and co. all needing touches, a pass-first guy could contribute pretty early on. Unless Nelson makes him take a standardized test to get in games.
As for Tyreke Evans, I just like his overall ceiling as a draft prospect. Would fit the current system with the Warriors.
My pick for the Warriors is Jordan Hill. Just so it won't happen. Last thing I need to read in the paper is about another talented rookie sitting in Coach Nelson's dog house.

Evans won't get past Minnesota, who I PRAY TO GOD !!!!! ... won't trade the 5th or 6th pick away .
Jennings is a real possibility though. Jordan Hill > Patrick O'Bryant :pop: ...
