Well I ordered on Tuesday, they normally ship next day, and delivered the next. So I assumed they shipped on Wednesday, but that didn't happen. I guess if you order a few weeks out of release date they can have cases shipped pre-release so you receive them the day of release.

Well I do film for the high school I graduated from and then break down the film and do stats after the game. If you recall the film 'Remember the Titans,' was based off a school in our division T.C. Williams. In the movie if you recall they play Hayfield (my school) and actually filmed the movie on our field for that part. Plus if we win most of the coaches go out for beers so that's why I say 12-1am :D

Long story short, after I graduated in 2004, another school opened in our district and took more than half of our enrollment. So that put us at a severe disadvantage with the other powerhouses in our division and district. There is a lot of talent that comes out of Northern VA, Eddie Royal, Evan Royster, played at Westfield. So for the past 4 years I think we have won a total of 3 games. This year we moved to the next lower district and are currently 4-2 (3-0). Tonight we play a team that is just god awful, we didn't even watch film because the opponent is so fundamentally unsound in their scheme that it would be pointless to plan against it. And this week their JV team mutinied because they were so bad they combined the Varsity and JV teams and canceled the rest of the JV season. To the point, we will smoke them with 50 in the first half and put in 3rd stringers in the second half.

Well thats cool . I know how big football is down here and my area has changed some since new schools opened here as well. So the school i went to lost a lot of talent as well. Back in 93 or 94 we had our cross town rival game on Payperview . It was such a big game everyone wanted to see it. I was sitting on the ground by the endzone during the game we won. We ended up going to state and winning it all back to back Yrs. Our big player that yr was Peter Warrick . Theres a tape of the season and i'm shown in part of it after winning the cross town game walking around the field with the players .

Thought the collation of player hits, eg Jason Smith, Henderson and a few others were poor for a case. Some nice looking cards though with the Immortals jerseys being a quality bunch. As ever thanks so much to Ryan.

When I was sorting them I noticed several missing cards for a set. While I like a hard base set to complete, 8 boxes should do it. And yes they need to mix up the cards a bit, we had a lot of duplicate players.
