My Grand-daughter, Jordyn, who is 4, is my biggest fan and youngest collector. I had gotten a shipment of cards in, and she got so damn excited to open it - it was the cutest thing I had ever seen!!

So, I told her that if anything ever happened to me, I want her to have my cards. She got this sad look on her face, so I explained to her that I just want her to have my cards so she can go to college when she gets big.....then we opened the cards. She knows I NEVER let her touch them, but I was opening some '05 Longevity(hobby, of course), and all she kept saying was "is that one a Rookie Nana?". lol

She must be my lucky charm, cuz I sure as heck got some damn good cards in that box! :D I even let her look thru a pack, cuz they were commons, and she had this look of awe.......

My youngest collector, by far!

Very awesome!!!! I don't have a little collector yet :(

One of my ex-girlfriends had a 2 year old and was over when I was breaking some 05 Reflections. I gave her a common card and she kept saying "shiny!" over and over. Then she sat in the middle of the living room and stared at it while moving it around so the light would refract off it.

Very cute.

Are you sure that wasn't Andy with a refractor?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well I had hit the acid rather hard that day so maybe I could have confused a 2 year old female african-american with a big ol' white dude.

How did he know where I lived?!

My youngest daughter who will be 2 in about 3 months. She loves picking up cards, sorting them and piling them up again. :)

I share the hobby with my brother, 23 years old. He does not really like spending the money on cards but loves to look at them.

My kiddos are 9 and 10, and have no interest in my silly cards.

Funny thing was I had also gotten some Hobby Ultra, chasing those Lucky
13's. She knew what I was looking for, and that I didn't want to even open the packs, cuz they are just plain boring...

So, here I sat, and she said, looking down at the 3 boxes I got really cheap,
"Nana, please open those, I just know there is a Lucky 13 in there.

I looked at her and laughed, but proceeded to open the boxes, and sure as heck, got one Lucky 13!!

Wasn't the particular one I wanted, but one of value anyway. I absolutely couldn't believe my eyes, and she high-fived me and gave me the tightest hug!

Again she asked - Nana, is that a Rookie Card? And I said "you betcha, baby girl'!! :D

Both my son and daughter have a shoe box of cards themselves. The boy (6)doesn't care too much about them right now. But my daughter (8) is very into it whenever she gets new cards. She has a decent little collection of numbered stuff. Probably a half dozen autos and some jersey cards as well.

But she seems to like the Dolphins and that's pretty disgraceful.
