Great 2 hours!!! I thought it was a great ending.
I don't think there is a bad actor/actress in the whole series.

I agree 24 is a great show but the final episode was really straightforward. Maybe I've just watched it too closely but I knew exactly what was going to happen. The only thing that surprised me was that Josh shot his grandfather. Good but it wasn't great! Still can't wait for next year.

Yea, it definitely wasn't the best season/season finale of 24, but it's still the best show on TV. Like Giant Fan said, everything was pretty straight-forward. Kinda weird to see Jack looking a little suicidal at the end. Perhaps a look into his psyche for next season...?
Who knows, but I'm sure the writers will have something great for us.

yep I agree kinda easy to know what was going on but, I like 24 so much I don't mind.
I thought that Josh was going to kill his grandpa even with Jack there...oh well.
Also heard rumor that next season THE ONLY old person from the previous years will be Jack and the rest will be new actors/actress's.
I doubt it's true, but you never know with 24.

Maybe to start, but there will be some old characters popping in, as often happens on 24.

Having watched every episode (ever), I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the ending. It just kind of fell flat. No "boom", no "OHMYGOD!"... just ended. Think about last season's ending - the big crisis gets averted, then in the final seconds we see Jack snatched (jack-snatched? sounds like... ah, never mind) by the Chinese. "Boom!" Cliffhanger.
I feel like they've lost their edge and are just treading the same ol' water some of the time.
Regardless, I'm hooked. I'll watch until the final episode is aired. :o

Count me as a 24 faithfull watcher, but this year was the most ho-hum ever. For me there was only one moment where I was like...HOLLY CRAP. And it may have been the best 24 moment ever: Jach, while shackled to a chair, eats his way to freedom by chomping on a dudes throat.
Other than that, I found myself bored with the entire thing. Right now, give me LOST, HEROES, and even Friday Night Lights for my must-see tv.

I completely agree there. This was actually the first season I watched, but there really were no surprises in the finale the way ther were in other episodes.

Jack is going to do something crazy at the start of next year you watch.

The finale sucked. There is no nice way to say it. It was a terrible end to an overall disappointing season. They need to step it up next year.

OK season, curious to see where this complex Bauer takes us next year.

There were a few "OMG" moments this season (nuke, shooting Curtis, bringing back Logan), but it was a pretty lackluster season.
I'm sure the writers will step it up for Day 7. I've heard they might move the show from LA to change things up.
Still can't wait for next season, but I'm still thinking about the final of "Lost."
