thats a lot of damn people...

they said the crowd was larger than when the White Sux won the world series or when the Bears won the Super Bowl, but it was freezing for that one...

i didnt see the parade cause i was driving home, but i watched the 'rally' part...i dont understand the Versterg rap thing, guessing some sort of inside joke or something :think:

thought it was funny that everyone booed the governor when he was introduced, and quite impressed that he didnt have any political statement :shock: also nice that they introduced the front office and training staff before the team...yeah kinda sucks for those waiting in the heat/humidity, but they deserve some credit as well...looked like a pretty good party down there...

wow that is insane! but whats sad is, when the Hurricanes won it in 06 only like 20,000 ppl showed up:redface:

that is sad...early speculation was 200-350 thousand would turn out...

they said you couldnt catch a train into the city after 8am from the near burbs, because people from farther out had already packed the trains :shock: so i wonder how many people caught a train the other direction to catch one at the start of the line to head in from there?...

also it was a nightmare catching a train back out of the city...i mean im sure you could park out there for like $50-$200 depending how close you got, or you could spend 4-6 hours waiting to get on a train home :think:

either way...FAIL
