Patrick Collins is guest on WGN-TVs news, he was keynote speaker at the journalism conference i went to a few months ago...he prosecuted the George Ryan case (former governor in jail now)...
im disappointed that Rod didnt go on the stand, but electronic devices are not allowed in illinois courtrooms, so we wouldnt get to see/hear what he was saying, just the 3rd hand accounts, but i still think they would be entertaining...
i thought the trial would be more of a circus than it has turned out to be thus far...i really thought Rezko, Obama, and a few others would really come down hard along with Rod...but without Rod on the stand i dont see how they can nail him with what has come out thus far :doh:
