56 million over four years, will be 75 million if he's traded during that period (apparently that's what he got in place of a no-trade clause). When the Sox are looking at a rebuilding period, he's a great guy to start with. Oh happy day for me!

Great deal for the Sox, but they almost blew it by not giving him the no-trade clause. 4/56 w/ a no-trade is a no-brainer for a front line starter.
