I've got a beta fish who needs some kind of heating device in his bowl. The bowl holds 2 or 3 gallons. If you have any suggestions, they are greatly appreciated:)

Hey Bama. Yeah your guy should not need a heater. They are pretty tough fish, just remember to cut down on the amount of food you feed him if it's really cold. "Really cold" to a betta is under 65, so as long as he at "room temp" you should be OK. Putting a heater in a container that small would prob cause more probs than it would solve.

BTW, I've kept and bred bettas for years, even have a few awards for 'em from the local trop fish society.

Jason, my dad likes the AC pretty damn cold at all times. No joke, one night (not recently) he had it on 55 degrees on purpose:o

Alane, PM sent...if you get time anytime soon to answer the questions, it would be appreciated:salut:

If it's not edible, open lid, insert fish and flush. Problem solved.

Now that's brutal honesty. True, but honest, too!
