As Seahawklady posted, the limit for sig photos is extremely strict. To wit:

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 2.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."

Now I'm sure there are sigs posted here that are far larger than 2kb. - I've seen them. I've seen animated images in sigs, too. I thought maybe it was mis-worded, but it wouldn't let me upload a normal sized sig when I tried.

What gives? How do we all get the privilege?

Remember, we are still in Beta mode, so things are goofy once in awhile.

Are you trying to upload a photo for your signature? Or your profile? If you are trying to upload the pic for your sig, then that shouldn't be happening and we are looking into it.

We have not really even addressed what to set avatars size (HxW, bites) or for sigs, we will :D

I forget what it is right now...but it is definitely bigger than what is stated above.

Okay - figured it out. The trick is to click on the "Insert Image" button above and add it that way. The "Signature Picture" part beneath the "Edit Signature" was what I was trying before. (That part could use a good lookin' at someday!)

Thanks guys.
