8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that MLB Players names and statistics are all part of the public domain, and that MLB does not have rights in them.

Seemed pretty obvious to me, after all, news and magazine publications have been profiting off of the use of names and statistics without obtaining licenses since the inception of the game, but now it's on the books, I guess, just in case there was any question when it came to fantasy leagues.
