my wife's cousin's friend made the video and posted, Paul's people contacted him and are having him work for the campaign... I like a lot of what he says... but I support the Patriot act. I do not care if the government listens to my calls as long as they listen to the terrorists too.

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
-Benjamin Franklin

Lots of truth in that.

He has a good size following here in South Carolina where they like very conservative people. However, an interesting twist to add that the presodent of Bob Jones University (who in 2000 stated that Mormonism is not a real religion) is supporting Mit Romney.

Once that is acceptable, what do we lose next?

(finished screaming, and peeled self off of ceiling)

Well, since it's now been shown that this anti-American "warentless wiretapping" has been going on since early 2000, WELL before 9/11, fat lot of good that did, huh?

Blaming Clinton makes about as much sense as blaming Bartman.

When the WTC was bombed under Clinton's watch... the perps were CAUGHT and JAILED.

How's that hunt for bin Laden going for you, Huh?

Don't get me started, I will not argue with you anymore.

bin laden isnt clintons fault but "no child left behind" is

if hillary gets elected that we will have had a bush or a clinton in the white house since 1989?

is it any wonder that nothing ever gets changed or fixed? we keep electing the same "politics as usual" washington types and it will always be the same,it doesnt matter what party/state/race/religion/gender they are, they all have the same mentality

thats why i like Ron Paul, at least he has some original thought

At the same time, I remember the right-winger nutballs chanting "No War for Monica!" and pulling off a BS impeachment of a president that had a 65+% approval rating over a frikkin BJ. This was shot down by the Senate and the Supreme Court, and became a big waste of time, and because Clinton should have had more spine, did not happen.

How's that hunt for bin Laden going for you NOW, Huh?

Remember the memo entitled "bin Laden determined to strike within America"? I know Condi does. She told the nation about it.

bin laden is a product of reagan or before, it wasnt a clinton thing, as his name was brought up during the ollie north/iran contra stuff back in what 83?...

seahawklady is refering to the bombing of the basement of WTC back in like 99 or something where the force of the explosion wasnt properly directed at the support beam and didnt do any 'major' damage to the structural integrity of the building...

i am very antipolitical parties, i disagree with the patriot act, as well as the war in iraq, its korea part 3 (vietnam was part 2)...politics are behind most wars, and i think bush/chenney were just sniffing around for a reason to go back to iraq since bush 1 pulled out too early

I meant the WTC bombing that happened in 1993: In October 1995, the militant Islamist and blind cleric Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, was sentenced to life imprisonment for masterminding the bombing. In 1998, Ramzi Yousef was convicted of "seditious conspiracy" to bomb the towers. In all, ten militant Islamist conspirators were convicted for their part in the bombing, each receiving prison sentences of at least 240 years.

And bin Laden is... where??????

I bet bin laden is caught next March or April so they can be heroes for the next election.

No way anyone is going to tell me they don't know where he is in all this time.

They can see what I have for breakfast everyday, they know where he is.

I like some of what Paul has to say. I think he could be a vote stealer if he goes independant or perhaps a running mate to keep the strong conservative vote. One person who I wish would get more exposure is Tom Tancredo. I really like what I heard from him when immigration was a big topic a year or so ago.
