I would tend to agree with you. If you want something good out of elite you have to buy a case. Prestige wasnt too bad, score is... score. Classics normally delivers a nice spread of retired jerseys and maybe an auto or two.

DLP has been a 2 card promo pack for every 5 packs you bust in the past not a card /5, not sure who did that or when...i think Press Pass did last year with the legends maybe?

Step-up to Receive an Exclusive Panini National VIP Card Set

Panini recently announced the launch of Crown Royale basketball for the first time since 1999. The long-time collector favorite was popularized in the 1990s by die-cutting. To celebrate the return of Crown Royale, Panini is producing a special six-card Crown Royale set for purchase a VIP or a Super VIP ticket for the 31st National Sports Collectors Convention.

Panini spokesman Kobe Bryant, hot off his 5th NBA Championship, highlights the set. Rookies Evan Turner and Wesley Johnson join Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony and Brandon Jennings to round out what is sure to be one of the hottest promo sets for those attending.


Box Wars

Before you buy a box of Panini NFL or NBA cards at The National, be sure to stop by the booth to see the Box Wars schedule. Some great cards will once again be awarded.

The highlight of the event will be a special National Treasures Box War. The first 50 collectors who bring an unopened box of National Treasures to our booth will have the chance to win some rare memorabilia from the 2009 NBA Draft including the autographed nameplates from the Official NBA Draft Board.

They will also be entered to compete in the National Treasure Box War on Saturday at 3 PM. The winner will get to choose from several prizes, including a Kobe Bryant signed Lakers jersey or the hats worn by Blake Griffin, Tyreke Evans or Brandon Jennings at the 2009 NBA Draft.

the 2008 convention spin the wheel line was short, 2009 was long...shoot, by the end of some of the days of the 08 they were handing out like 50-100 card stacks to people
