The first part of the break seemed brutal. We're due a couple big hits from classics.

I would tend to agree with you. If you want something good out of elite you have to buy a case. Prestige wasnt too bad, score is... score. Classics normally delivers a nice spread of retired jerseys and maybe an auto or two.

I'll see what type of deals are this weekend, if not i'll buy them at nationals. Question for everyone, if panini has special cards for opening classics packs do you want me to break them there? Normally it is a card /5 for every 5 packs you break

National Sports Collector's Convention Wrapper Redemption
For those of you making the trip to Baltimore for The National— August 4-8—make sure to stop by the Panini booth for what is sure to be the hottest promotion at this year's National. If you bring five (5) unopened packs of any 2010 Panini NFL or 2009-10 Panini NBA hobby product (or a box of Retail) to the booth, you will receive a two- card limited-edition National pack.
The exclusive set will consist of 50 Donruss Elite cards sequentially numbered to 499. There will also be green parallels (# to 50), blue parallels (# to 25) and black parallels with certified autographs (# to 25 or less). As an added bonus, instant win cards will be redeemable during the show for a signed 8" x 10" Prestige rookie card from an NFL rookie.
The set will include the top rookies and stars from the company's line of fully licensed NFL, NBA, NHL and CLC products: NFL: Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, Adrian Peterson, Brett Favre, Colt McCoy, Dez Bryant, Drew Brees, Joe Flacco, Sam Bradford, Tom Brady and more. NBA: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James & Chris Bosh (in their Miami Heat uniforms), Dwyane Wade, 76ers Rookie Evan Turner, Kevin Durant, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings and more. NHL: Ryan Miller, Henrik Sedin, Alex Ovechkin and rookies PK Subban and Nazem Kadri. Donruss Elite Extra Edition: Bryan Holaday, Cito Culver, Cole Leonida and Chris Sale.
Spin the Panini Prize Wheel
at The National
Collectors who spin the prize wheel at the Panini booth during the National will receive a Panini Certified card with The National logo of: Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Evan Turner, Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Donovan McNabb, Ray Lewis, Colt McCoy and Larry Bird.
Step-up to Receive an Exclusive Panini National VIP Card Set
Panini recently announced the launch of Crown Royale basketball for the first time since 1999. The long-time collector favorite was popularized in the 1990s by die-cutting. To celebrate the return of Crown Royale, Panini is producing a special six-card Crown Royale set for purchase a VIP or a Super VIP ticket for the 31st National Sports Collectors Convention.
Panini spokesman Kobe Bryant, hot off his 5th NBA Championship, highlights the set. Rookies Evan Turner and Wesley Johnson join Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony and Brandon Jennings to round out what is sure to be one of the hottest promo sets for those attending.
Box Wars
Before you buy a box of Panini NFL or NBA cards at The National, be sure to stop by the booth to see the Box Wars schedule. Some great cards will once again be awarded.
The highlight of the event will be a special National Treasures Box War. The first 50 collectors who bring an unopened box of National Treasures to our booth will have the chance to win some rare memorabilia from the 2009 NBA Draft including the autographed nameplates from the Official NBA Draft Board.
They will also be entered to compete in the National Treasure Box War on Saturday at 3 PM. The winner will get to choose from several prizes, including a Kobe Bryant signed Lakers jersey or the hats worn by Blake Griffin, Tyreke Evans or Brandon Jennings at the 2009 NBA Draft.
